The June 16, 2015 Program



Kathy Tracey is Garden Designer and Horticulturist at Avant Gardens in North Dartmouth. She is also  a blog writer and photographer for Garden Foreplay, and she has written articles for Fine Gardening Magazine. She a member of the Horticultural Club of Boston, a group of horticulturist, designers and landscape architects, founded by Ernest ‘Chinese’ Wilson, plant explorer for the Arnold Arboretum in 1912.

Kathy will present a slide presentation showcasing easy to care for, long lasting, unique plants that get better and better, from June to frost.

Note: The  June 19th meeting is at the Old Mill on the Edgartown Road in West Tisbury. It is directly across the street from the Mill Pond. 


 IMPORTANT:  
Until June, all meetings will be held at the WAKEMAN CONSERVATION CENTER in Vineyard Haven.  

Driving to the Wakeman Center for the first time is not for the faint of heart. Although the official address of the Wakeman Center is 67 David Avenue, off of Lambert's Cove Road in Vineyard Haven, the best way to get there is via Helen Avenue. Parking at the Wakeman Center is limited.  Please carpool.

Our meetings are open to the public; there is a meeting fee of ten dollars for non-members.
