Harbor Homes of Martha's Vineyard Volunteer Day

​Harbor Homes of Martha’s Vineyard purchased a home on New York Avenue in Oak Bluffs to provide housing for women.  The house is scheduled to be open before the end of the year, but some major utility work needed to be completed first. In the meantime, they reached out for help to clean up the grounds and contacted the MV Garden Club.  Garden Volunteer Day was on Saturday, August 14, 2021 and several of our Club members showed up to help with weeding, trimming, and general clean up.  Here are a few pics from the day that coordinator Dorie Godfrey shared with us!  It feels great to lend some hands and garden knowledge with our Island Community!
