The Martha's Vineyard Garden Club conducts lots of informal, informative and enjoyable events throughout the year!

​In May 2021 the Garden Club partnered with the MV Film Center and along with the Film Center, we sponsored the immersive film 'Five Seasons: The Gardens of Piet Oudolf'.  Veteran Garden Club member, Viet spoke about the Garden Club and we distributed our "Landscaping on Martha's Vineyard" brochures to audience members prior to the film.  The Garden Club is always happy to partner with Island organizations in support and to spread the word about our dynamic Club!  
​Garden Club members gathered informally throughout the Spring and into Summer to tour each others gardens.  Below is a peek at some of what was growing!  Would you like to open your garden up to Garden Club members for an informal tour in 2022?  If so, email us @ [email protected]

Thanks so much to our Garden Club treasure,... member Nancy for organizing such a well run and fun plant swap!  It was pulled together most informally on a sunny Sunday morning in Autumn at the Old Mill in West Tisbury!  Members brought what plants they wanted to donate from their own gardens and after drawing numbers, the swap proceeded!  We all went home with more plants than we thought.  It was great to learn about each others favorite plants, and we all discovered some new favorites! Many of us are already looking forward to the next one!

 We had a great group of MV Garden Club Members for our Winter Greens "WREATH WORKSHOP" which was held at The Wakeman Center in early December, 2021.   
Thanks to MaryAnn for coordinating the event, and to Nancy and Judy for guiding us through the creative process!  Attendees left with a beautiful wreath and
​fun was had by all! 




"Christmas at the Mill" (our Holly-day party) was hosted on December 5 by the 2022 MVGC Executive Board. The charming Old Mill was fabulously festooned with wreaths created by Garden Club members at our workshop.  We shared Holiday Cheer along with some lovely social time and all GC attendees left with a special Holiday favor!  Door prizes brought smiles to faces and added some laughter to the afternoon!  Here are a few pics from the day.
