Blooming Art 2024...Art and Floral Design photos & Thank You!
The MV Garden Club's biggest fundraiser of the year, Blooming Art was a great success thanks to everyone involved!
The Club's work on Blooming Art begins in January, with the Blooming Art Committee meeting monthly to begin the planning. Sub-Committees are created and they work collectively to make Blooming Art come together.
We sincerely appreciate everyone who worked to make Blooming Art, 2024 a wonderful experience for our 400+ attendees!
HUGE thanks to all of the Island artists who participated in Blooming Art. Each artist has donated a portion of the art sales in support of our Club.
Thank you to the Floral Designers who creatively interpreted the piece of art they were assigned for the show. Bravo!
Our cheerful greeters and docents helped to enhance the visitor's experience and we very much appreciate the support of the Island Community for attending the show and for purchasing art!
Admission and the funds raised through the art sales during Blooming Art supports the Club's mission which is to promote the knowledge and love of gardening and horticulture through the education of our Club and the Community. In this way, we can further effect, enhance and protect the beauty of our fragile Island and support the conservation initiatives that our Club was founded on in 1924. Your donations help the Martha's Vineyard Garden Club support its ongoing programs, our Club's Scholarship Fund, the Windemere Program and maintenance of the Old Mill through the Old Mill Preservation Fund. We thank you for your attendance and your support!

design assistance from Granddaughter Lilly who was visiting the Island from Nashville.
Lilly aspires to participate as a floral designer in the future. :-)

And one more thank you... to Vineyard Gardens for kindly lending us the hanging planters, the lovely delphinium, guara and lantana standards which added to the color and helped dress up the Old Mill for Blooming Art. We appreciate you!
