Flower Arrangements at Farm Neck for the Annual Hospice Summer Soiree'

Several of our Garden Club members were honored to help prepare the floral centerpieces for the annual Hospice Soiree on August 5 at Farm Neck Golf Club. Fourteen club members worked with Wiet Bacheller and Susie Wallo to create 41 centerpieces for this wonderful event. They were beautiful additions to the Soiree.

Hospice Soiree - 2023
- Thank you Susan, Caroline, Susie, Fawn, Anna, Paula, Sarah and Gay for sharing your time and talents with Hospice & Palliative Care of Martha's Vineyard. You have no idea how lovely your work looked once everything else was on the table. Hospice is truly grateful to all of you and I hope you enjoyed the experience as well. |

On Monday morning, August 8, Susan Hobart, Susie Wallo, Sarah Lolley, Anna Edey, Gay Smith, Fawn Hurwitz, Paula Craft and Caroline Taylor joined me at Farm Neck Golf Club to create 32 centerpieces and 8 miscellaneous bouquets for the Annual Hospice Summer Soiree'.
Waiting for them were buckets and buckets of donated blue hydrangea and a variety of garden flowers picked fresh from Whippoorwill Farm and Slough Farm.
Prepared with their garden scissors and small rocks to steady the vases, this group was ready to start creating.
