June 20, 2015

The Tisbury Travel Club is sponsoring a trip to the Newport Flower Show on Saturday, June 20.

The "American Beauty-Timeless Style" show harkens back to the day when the American Beauty Rose first made an appearance with it's birthplace being Rosecliff.

The cost is $62, including luncheon at Atlantic Beach House, admission to the Newport Flower Show, motor coach & driver gratuity.

Click HERE for more information about the Newport Flower Show.

A note from Sandy Whitworth, Tisbury Council on Aging:
The reason the TTC trips are so popular is that people are spared the driving and parking (what..where.. parking, we may ask!) with reduced entry prices at our region's great cultural and entertainment venues. I used to offer trips to the Boston or RI Flower Shows and they were well attended by MVGC members, so I thought that you might share this information with whoever networks with your group. Website? Newsletter? Meeting? The Tisbury and Edgartown COA's are running this trip together. People think of us as 55+. but our trips are open to all adults (not appropriate for young children-too long a day, usually 8:15-5 or 6:15).

For more information, and/or to make a reservation, contact:
Sandy at the Tisbury Council on Aging at:  508-696-4205
