An Edgartown Garden Stroll and Fundraiser for the MV Garden Club

Stroll five 'private' Edgartown gardens and
one historic in-town botanic garden!

The Martha's Vineyard Garden Club's Summertime fundraiser allows
an opportunity for attendees to meander through the gardens of five historic Edgartown properties and
one public botanic garden
located in the midst of Edgartown, Martha's Vineyard.

The Edgartown Garden Stroll is self-guided and offers a unique opportunity to be immersed in the history of the Vineyard and this notable town.
Edgartown was once a major whaling port, with historic houses
that have been carefully and impeccably preserved.
Here's a peek into a few of the gardens you will enjoy via the 'Stroll'!
Garden Stroll description:
This self-guided stroll is of five private Edgartown gardens and one public botanic garden.  The gardens collectively are traditional, quaint, historic and eclectic! Complimentary refreshments and cookies will be available to strollers along the route. These private gardens are not handicapped accessible and pets and carriages are not allowed.

The 'Edgartown Garden Stroll' will take place on Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 10am - 3pm, rain or shine. The gardens are in fairly close proximity to each other and we estimate the Stroll between houses and gardens taking between 2.5 - 3 hours at a leisurely pace.

Tickets are $50 if purchased in advance; $60 day-of the Stroll. Pre-purchased tickets must be picked up at the Gate House of The Cooke House and Legacy Garden beginning at 9am on Thursday, August 10 prior to beginning the Stroll. Tickets will be held under the name of the purchaser.

Day-Of tickets to the Stroll are $60 payable in
CASH OR CHECK ONLY and may be purchased at the Gate House of The Cooke House and Legacy Garden from 9am - 2pm on August 10.

The location/address of the Cooke House and Legacy Gardens is 51 School Street, Edgartown. Your 'Stroll' will begin there and you may visit the gardens in any order and at your own pace.
