Martha's Vineyard Garden Club Presents: Blooming Art 2021!

ABOUT BLOOMING ART: Blooming Art is modeled after the Museum of Fine Art’s Art in Bloom show, an annual celebration of floral arrangements inspired by the Museum’s masterpieces. The Old Mill in West Tisbury is transformed into a gallery filled with the art of Vineyard artists displayed with interpretive floral arrangements created by Garden Club members. DATES: FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY Friday, June 18th, and Saturday, June 19th, 10am to 6pm and Sunday, June 20th, 10am to 3pm. Admission: $10 at the door, cash or check only. All artwork will be for sale and proceeds will benefit the Garden Club's Scholarship Fund and the Old Mill Preservation Fund. LOCATION: The Old Mill in West Tisbury, at 690 Edgartown-West Tisbury Road, across from the Mill Pond.
NOTE: The Google map below is deceiving. The Old Mill is located directly across the street from the Mill Pond. The Mill Pond (to the left of the red marker ) is actually larger than it appears on this map.
Driving directions from Chilmark/Aquinnah and
Alley's General Store in West Tisbury: Note: The Old Mill is less than 1/10th of a mile from Alley's General Store. Pass Alley's General Store on your left. Drive 200 feet, and turn right onto the Edgartown Road (toward the Airport and Edgartown). The second driveway on your right leads to the Old Mill's parking area. Driving directions from the entrance to the MV Airport
(at the intersection of Airport Road and the Edgartown: Head west on the Edgartown Rd toward West Tisbury Center. Drive 3.8 miles. The Old Mill will be on your left, directly across from Mill Pond. The driveway is immediately beyond the building. From Vineyard Haven and Up Island Cronig's:
Pass Up Island Cronig's (469 State Road) on your right. Turn left onto Edgartown Road (toward the Airport and Edgartown). The second driveway on your right leads to the Old Mill's parking area. |

We have 34 artists whose work will be shown. All of it will be for sale with the Club receiving a percentage. 2021’s participating artists are Marston Clough, Angela Egerton, Margaret Emerson, Valentine Estabrook, Sheila M. Fane, Robin Ledoux Forte, Joann Frechette, Roberta Gross, Jay Lagemann, Chetta Kelley, Nancy Kilson, Washington Ledesma, Kanta Lipsky, Marjorie Mason, Marianne Neill, Alida O’Loughlin, Heidi Lang Parrinello, Kathy Poehler, Debby Rosenthal, Claire Schalfoun, Judith Drew Schubert, Elizabeth Schule, Ed Schulman, Rosalie Shane, Alison Shaw, Taylor Stone, Virginia Stone, Donna Straw, Elizabeth Lockhart Taft, Katy Upson, Vineyard Colors, Wendy Weldon, Frances Werthwein, and Maureen Williams.
