Our next meeting is OCTOBER 21, 2014, at 1 PM at the Wakeman Center!

Our speaker is MATT PELIKAN, and his topic is More Than You Gardened For: Valuable Visitors Where You Don’t Expect Them

Matt is a lifelong naturalist. He is a restoration ecologist for the Nature Conservancy, and he also writes the "Wild Side" column for the MV Times.

Matt's presentation will focus on the winged visitors to our gardens, including some less desirable visitors. Matt promises to provide us with strategies to help us attract some of the more helpful winged visitors.

IMPORTANT:
From October through May, all meetings will be held at the Wakeman (Conservation) Center in Vineyard Haven. Parking at the Wakeman Center is limited.  Please carpool. Click HERE for driving directions.
Upcoming Meetings:
NOVEMBER 18, 2014: TERESA YUAN & ANGELA EGERTON will present Decorating for the Holidays.
DECEMBER MEETING: The annual Holly Day Party is our meeting!

The Program Committee is working on plans for  2015.  Check back in December to see who will be speaking when.

* PLEASE NOTE:
Our meetings are open to the public; there is a meeting fee of ten dollars for non-members.
Any updates and weather-related scheduled changes will be noted here and messages sent via email to members.
Driving to the Wakeman Center for the first time can be daunting. It's easier if you take Helen Avenue (not David Avenue). Click HERE for driving directions.
