THE PROGRAM IN APRIL:  Medicinal Herbs: Growing Them, Finding Them and Using Them

OUR SPEAKER WAS: Heidi Schmidt-Laliberte, Herbalist, Founder and Owner of Vineyard Sound Herbs, an organic Nursery and community store in Fayston, Vermont

Heidi always begins her talks with a tea tasting to help her audience learn the properties of plants’ healing qualities. She hoped to inspire our use of the plants already growing in our gardens, fields and forests to enhance wellbeing for home, family, and pets. She also helped Garden Club memberts learn how to create their own medicinal gardens suited to their particular needs.
