April 15th, Master Gardener Kathi Gariepy, a Lifetime Master Gardener with the Massachusetts Master Gardener Association (MMGA), will present an engaging talk on Container Gardening. Kathi brings extensive experience as a member of the MMGA Speakers’ Bureau and has held several leadership roles within the organization, including Vice President and Chair of the Master Gardener Advisory Board. May 13-14th, Tom Clarke, former curator at Polly Hill Arboretum and current Director of the Mount Holyoke Botanic Garden, will deliver an enlightening talk on Rhododendrons and Azaleas. General Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month, starting at 12:30 PM with social time, featuring refreshments and light bites prepared by MVGC members. The meeting begins at 1:00 PM with a brief update on Club business, followed by the featured program. Meetings are held at either The Old Mill in West Tisbury, the Club’s cherished Summer Home, or the Wakeman Center in Vineyard Haven. Locations and program details, including a presenter bio, are posted in this site one month in advance. Social time is hosted by rotating Vineyard town VPs and highlights our members’ culinary creations. The general public is welcome to attend programs of interest, with admission ranging from $10–$20.
