Program and Events Schedule for 2025 (Subject to change: Check back for Updates) May 13-14th, Tom Clarke, former curator at Polly Hill Arboretum and current Director of the Mount Holyoke Botanic Garden, will deliver an enlightening talk on Rhododendrons and Azaleas. The following day, he will lead a guided tour of the Polly Hill collection, offering a unique opportunity to explore these stunning plants with an expert. Don’t miss this two-part event!
May 24-25th, Plant Sale, a wide selection of island grown plants; many unique specimans nurtured from seed by our club members. June 10th, Informal Member Meeting: Stop by to socialize as we spruce up the Old Mill and prepare for Blooming Art, our annual community collaboration and fund raiser June 13-15th, Blooming Art @ The Old Mill in West Tisbury July 15th, Member meeting with presentation on Seafood & Herbs – A Perfect Marriage August 19th, Annual Meeting with discussion on landscape design: Nature as Partner: Exploring the Dialogue between Garden and Landscape Watch here for updates and further details on Club programs and events. General Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month, starting at 12:30 PM with social time, featuring refreshments and light bites prepared by MVGC members. The meeting begins at 1:00 PM with a brief update on Club business, followed by the featured program. Meetings are held at either The Old Mill in West Tisbury, the Club’s cherished Summer Home, or the Wakeman Center in Vineyard Haven. Locations and program details, including a presenter bio, are posted in this site one month in advance. Social time is hosted by rotating Vineyard town VPs and highlights our members’ culinary creations. The general public is welcome to attend programs of interest, with admission ranging from $10–$20.
